<p>Our third townhall and plenty to cover! The main focus of this townhall was to share our launch and audit progress along with an overview of our unique Gravitational Tokenomics model, as presented by our CEO - Dr Jamie Allsop.</p>

<h2>Thanks!</h2> <p>In our 3rd Community Townhall, Dr. Jamie Allsop unveiled CPLX's "Gravitational Tokenomics," a strategic model designed to organically pull and retain value within the ecosystem.</p> <h2>Concept and purpose of Townhall</h2> <p>Inform and provide deeper information about the CPLX project, focusing on the Tokenomic Design of the CPLX ecosystem and how its economic players interact with each other to create sustainable value.</p> <h2>Project Updates</h2> <p>An initial report from the smart contract auditors has been received for the CPLX liquidity pool. Internal testing is also underway on Monad Testnet to validate the technical components.</p> <h2>Community Updates</h2> <p>We will continue to run community campaigns through our Galxe and Zealy platforms, and points earned from participating will be convertible to CPLX Points. Participating in our referral program, and engagement in community activities (that result in roles and NFTs) are the simplest way to maximise future CPLX allocation. As you learned in the townhall CPLX is a unique store or value token so your early and continued participation, which increases potential allocation, will maximise your access to that value.</p> <h2>CPLX Gravitational Tokenomics</h2> <p>CPLX’s Tokenomics is a purpose-built economic model that organizes value into the ecosystem while ensuring participants are increasingly rewarded to continue activity within the ecosystem. The design aligns incentives across all participants, from liquidity providers to validators, creating a self-sustaining mechanism that strengthens the platform as it scales.</p> <p><img alt="Gravitational Tokenomics" src="https://cplx.io/img/tokenomics_overview.svg"></p> <h3>The Foundation: Controlled Scarcity</h3> <p>The staking mechanism is the cornerstone of the entire system. Following the bootstrap phase, staking <em>Liquidity Product (LP) tokens</em> becomes the only pathway to acquire new <em>$CPLX</em>. This creates scarcity that continually increases value for the ecosystem.</p> <p><em>$CPLX</em> staking reward emission rates decrease based on the volume of rewards already emitted and follows a half-life emission model — similar to that of Bitcoin.</p> <p>Early stakers benefit from greater token issuance, while later participants are incentivized by the increasing rarity of the token itself.</p> <p><em>Importantly we’ve created a <strong>new staking model that ensures whales can’t drown out the minnows</strong>. Staking, no matter how much, will guarantee rewards and staking earlier is always better than staking later</em>.</p> <h3>The Engine: Intrinsic Demand &amp; Permanent Burn</h3> <p>The gravitational effect is reinforced by a <strong>burn mechanism</strong> directly tied to network security. Validators must hold and <strong>submit $CPLX tokens to earn fees</strong>, and these tokens are permanently burned, removing them from circulation. This establishes an intrinsic demand that exists independently of market sentiment or speculation, based entirely on platform usage. <strong>The more CPLX is used, the higher the token value becomes</strong>.</p> <p>Since Validators require <em>$CPLX</em> (valued in USD) to operate, demand remains <strong>stable and fundamental regardless of price</strong>. The network itself consumes the token as the cost of participation, creating organic buy pressure that strengthens as platform activity increases.</p> <h3>The Flywheel: Self-Sustaining Growth</h3> <p>These forces combine to create a self-reinforcing cycle:</p> <ul> <li>Increased platform activity accelerates the burn rate</li> <li>Simultaneously, emissions slow down over time by volume</li> <li>Supply reduces while demand remains steady or increases</li> <li>Price appreciation becomes a natural outcome of network growth</li> <li>Price has no impact on intrinsic demand</li> </ul> <p>The result is an economic model where in the long term, holding becomes more attractive than selling, guiding the token on a path of long-term stable growth, rather than volatile short-term speculation.</p> <h3>Gravitation Tokenomics: Long-Term Perspective</h3> <p>Gravitational Tokenomics creates a <strong>sustainable incentive structure where token value is not dependent on external hype, but rather on the fundamental utility of the $CPLX token</strong> as the core fabric of the network.
